"I had the pleasure to work with Finsens Makelaardij for the selling of my apartment. Before choosing the real estate agency, I have met 3 of them to compare their service level, professionalism, communication and their fee. For the first appointment, Vincent and Kay came to my house to have a close look at the house, give me tips to improve the layout and make their best estimation. They have been very professionnal, detailed and transparent, mentioning all the "areas of improvement" to make sure that the house will be at its best for the viewings. As well, they have been able to explain me all the steps to follow until the house is sold and highlighted that they will take care of the full process with limited actions on my side. They gave me such a good impression that I have decided to trust them for the selling of my apartment. As soon as the contract was signed, I had the pleasure to work with Kay on the selling but not only ! Their team is also composed of two lovely ladies who are Piroska and Pien. Kay was updating me on each of them and was sharing the feedback he received from the potential buyers. He was also making himself available during the weekend if I had any doubt or questions, so much appreciated. Four days later, I received few offers which were exceeding my expectations. Kay and Pien have been able to advice me on each offer and were keeping a close contact with me on WhatsApp which is very convenient when you are at work ! After accepting one of the offer, everything continued to be smooth, from taking the first appointment with the notary until the final signature. They have organised everything and took care of all the administrative part. My only dutie was to read my emails and accept the appointment proposals, so easy ! "I first met Vincent in 2007 when he helped me as an buying agent, and almost 20 years later he is still my go-to person for anything involving property in Amsterdam. Over the years, Vincent has supported us with the purchase of four different properties. He is incredibly thorough and somehow manages to know every detail of a property – quite often even more than the selling agent, which can make for some entertaining moments during a viewing. He spots things I would never notice (are those chickens in the shared garden?), asks the questions I wouldn't think to ask and, most importantly, gives very straightforward advice. Piroska and the team have helped me with rentals over the years, from finding and vetting tenants to contracts and all the practicalities that come with being a landlord.
